With over 30 years of industry experience in both television production and photography, MMP brings a wealth of expertise to your project.
Doug’s career began as a ski photographer in Austria, where he honed his skills in the historical days of Kodak film and VHS tape. Returning to the NSW snowfields, he worked at renowned resorts like Perisher Valley, Smiggins Hole, Blue Cow, and Thredbo, where he further developed his camera skills and specialised in videography and post-production.
Passionate about sports and all things fast, Doug has freelanced his services to most of the Australian television networks & large corporations. Often working within a large infrastructure of talent, crew, producers, staff, and the public, this exposure has led to some incredible experiences.
Constantly seeking the best angle or light for each composition, Doug has developed a deep sense of consistency through his unwavering passion for getting the shot.
Having collaborated with a diverse range of clients, career highlights include many assignments with the Royal Australian Navy, A Current Affairs, 60 Minutes, FoxSports - Chequered Flag, SBS - Speedweek, Sydney Kings NBL, the Women’s Swifts and Giants Netball, A League soccer, and the NRL.
Mad Media Productions has incorporated a fleet of DJI’s latest drone technology, which has empowered Doug to capture stunning aerial imagery, unleashing a new level of creativity for every project.
MMP utilises the latest technology from DJI, featuring a fleet that includes the Mavic 3T & 2 Zoom, Air 3, DJI FPV & Avata, Mini 4 Pro & Matrice 4 Pro drones. Your project will be captured in stunning 4K resolution.
MMP operates every mission under CASA’s highest pilot accreditation, safely adhering to the guidelines of the Mad Media Productions Remote Operators Certificate - ReOC.
